This afternoon the Member for Indi, Dr Helen Haines was attacked outside her electorate office in Wangaratta.

Dr Helen Haines is an incredibly hard working, kind, and caring Member of Parliament and someone who is loved and respected throughout her community.

My thoughts are with Helen, her family, her friends, and her team members. Like the Prime Minister, I am praying for her full recovery.
