This week the Australian Government launched the national Let’s Stop Bullying campaign. Bullying has always been a problem in our society, but is becoming more prevelent online.

The campaign responds to recommendations from the 2025 Anti-Bullying Rapid Review and aims to increase awareness of bullying and other harmful behaviours, build confidence to take action, and connect people with practical information and support.

Bullying and other harmful behaviours can look different in every situation and affect young people in different ways. Bullying doesn’t always look like bullying. It isn’t always obvious like pushing or name-calling.

It can also be things like exclusion, intimidation, harassment and discrimination. Offline and especially online.

The campaign website includes a suite of resources for mums and dads, school communities, and young people so they have the right tools and resources to know how to act and what to do when bullying occurs.
