Faster NBN speeds and reliable broadband are on the way

The upgrade has started to provide an additional 97,000 homes and businesses in the ACT with the option to upgrade to NBN Full Fibre to the Premises (FTTP).
NBN Full FTTP is more reliable than NBN FTTN and enables access to NBN’s fastest residential upload and download speeds.
The survey phase has already begun with construction work due to start in early 2026.
Depending on where your suburb sits in the timeline, if your premises is eligible, you may be able to order an NBN full fibre service from as early as 2026 – with the full upgrade complete by 2030.
The following suburbs have started or will soon start the survey phase:
- Conder
- Gordon
- Chisholm
- Hume
- Symonston
- Calwell
- Theodore
- Greenway
- Isabella Plains
- Richardson
